1. Who these terms are between

These terms are a legal agreement between you and ODICAST Digital LLP (M51, Samanta Vihar, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India - 751017), the operator of Swasthya Plus(the “Service”). “We”, “us”, and “our” refer to ODICAST Digital LLP. “You” means any person or entity using the Service.

2. What the Service is

Swasthya Plus is a video-first health encyclopedia. We publish health topic overviews written by Swasthya Plus using named reference sources such as MedlinePlus, NHS, and WHO, and embed explainer videos hosted on YouTube by verified Health Experts. The Service is free to use.

3. Medical information is not medical advice

All content on the Service is for general information and education only. It is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. See our full Medical Disclaimer for details. Do not use the Service in an emergency.

4. Your use of the Service

You agree to use the Service lawfully and responsibly. You will not:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or in any way that violates applicable law;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service, its servers, or related systems;
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or degrade the Service (including via automated scraping at a rate that impacts others);
  • Misrepresent the Service or its content, including by removing source attribution;
  • Use the Service to transmit malware, harmful code, or unsolicited commercial communications.

5. Intellectual property

(a) Our materials

The Swasthya Plus name, logo, site design, original editorial commentary, and the selection, arrangement, and organisation of content on the Service are the property of ODICAST Digital LLP and are protected by Indian and international intellectual-property laws.

(b) Source content

  • Reference-source materials remain subject to the rights and licence terms of their respective publishers. MedlinePlus content is generally in the public domain, while other sources such as NHS and WHO may have their own licence terms. We identify and link the relevant reference source on each health topic page.
  • Embedded videos remain the property of their respective creators and are embedded via YouTube’s public embed mechanism, subject to YouTube’s own terms.

(c) Your use of content

You may view and link to content on the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not republish, resell, or create derivative works from content on the Service without our prior written permission, except to the limited extent expressly permitted by law (e.g. fair dealing / fair use).

6. Third-party links and services

The Service contains links to and embeds from third-party websites, including YouTube and external reference sources such as MedlinePlus, NHS, and WHO. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of those third-party sites or services. Your use of them is subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy of content.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ODICAST Digital LLP, its officers, employees, and contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the greater of (i) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (which, for a free service, is typically zero) and (ii) INR 1,000.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ODICAST Digital LLP and its contributors against any claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these terms or your misuse of the Service.

10. Changes to the Service or terms

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We may also update these terms from time to time; the Last updated date at the top of this page will reflect any change. Your continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bhubaneswar have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or related to these terms or the Service, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have under applicable law.
