World sleep day is observed on the 18th of March every year. We often take sleep for granted and underestimate the impact sleep can have on our overall health. Good sleep is very important to function physically and mentally. Your body starts showing you that you need sleep when you start neglecting it. Most individuals, especially students are used to unhealthy sleep patterns – sleeping late or not sleeping at all. World sleep day is celebrated to spread awareness about various sleep problems and to motivate everyone to sleep well and stop taking their sleep for granted!
